FIYAH Fit (FF) is an all ladies Caribbean Dance Fitness celebration created by Lady Sol & Jessica Phoenix, both professional Afro-Carib-Hip Hop choreographers.
"We started FF to spread our love for Caribbean dance, music and culture, but more importantly to honor our womanhood."
Betty Rox (@bettyrox) originated from the islands of Belize and Jamaica.
She started her professional career at the age of 17, when she choreographed a Cheer-Dance routine for a national "Burger King" commercial. While incorporating her unique style of Caribbean dancing in her auditions, she gained the attention of several Choreographers and Directors, giving her opportunities to work with artists like Rihanna, Jamie Foxx, Keri Hilson and more. Betty choreographed her first tour for Trinidad native "Ms Triniti" as the opening act for Sean Paul. Since then she has worked with Dancehall, Soca and African superstars such as Beenie Man, Mr. Vegas, Elephant Man, WizKid and Machel Montano!
Betty Rox has an ongoing following for her high energy Soca Meets Dancehall classes. She takes you through a cultural experience, blending movements from the Caribbean islands of Jamaica, Belize, Trinidad, Barbados and More! This class was designed to embrace cultural dance while incorporating a full body workout. Her classes and Workshops are sure to be a fun-filled experience!
